Grometric Chest Tattoo
POSITION: Chest
DESCRIPTION: Brian, who traveled from Seattle to work with me, reached out to me with an idea for a chest tattoo. His vision was clear: a clean, minimalistic design in a geometric style. He already had a few existing tattoos on his arm that followed a similar aesthetic, and they blended naturally into the overall theme we wanted to continue building across his body.
For the composition, I chose a series of elongated, sharp but still subtly flowy parallel lines that echo the natural contours of his muscles and enhance the curvature of his body. The elegant flow of the design is purposefully broken by a single, long line running across his chest: an intentional break in the rhythm that adds visual tension and intrigue.
We kept the shading simple and subtle, using dotwork, to emphasize the clean and understated nature of the piece. Everything about this tattoo reflects a refined simplicity and minimalism.
Brian’s approach to the project was very much aligned with the spirit of the tattoo itself. He simply went with the flow and trusted the process. We had great conversations with plenty of laughter, and the whole experience felt light, grounded, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish.
